- Transportation Operations Analyst
Oversees the functions and processes of daily order processing, provides daily management expertise, performs all training functions, partners with internal departments, and manages all procedures and conducts related analysis in support of company operations.
Designs, implements and manages database systems, as needed for use in the Transportation Operations area. Monitors and manages data entry on all work orders, or other data-related items into the databases to ensure data integrity.
Builds and maintains reports and measures from databases to identify trends and opportunities for cost-savings. Performs detailed analysis for various functional areas of Transportation Operations group.
Interfaces with Distribution Centers, Company Operations and Real Estate to determine company delivery restriction needs. Conducts analysis to determine cost impacts associated with delivery time restrictions, trailer-size restrictions and date restrictions. Coordinates company closing pickups, diverted shipments or merchandise transfers while facilitating transportation expense control.
Assists in coordinating DOT functions related to transportation, thus assisting the field in the implementation or execution of specific programs. Both verbal and written forms of communication will be required to support these initiatives. Initiates communication for frequent run design changes, requiring new order processing and delivery days impacting Company Operations.
Assists, as needed, the Fleet Operations Coordinator with Property and Trailer Claims Processes.

- Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation Engineering or similar + at least 2 yrs experience or Masters degree in the same or similar field.
